Momoko's Apartment, El Paso, Texas, Tuesday Night

Jaime finished the last bite of fish and leaned back in his chair with a satisfied sigh. "That was pretty good," he told his dinner companion with a smile. "I didn't know you could fry fish so well." Not to mention the salad. Which hadn't been anything special, but had been very nice.

He took a moment to just appreciate it, then looked across the table. "So... you want dessert now, or do you need to digest first?" He'd brought a cake. Too big for two people, honestly, but he rather suspected that, given Momoko, that wouldn't really be a problem. Either they'd eat it all tonight, or she'd have some for later.

"Well, that won't do," She pouted and pulled her untrapped hand around to trace the contours of his face. "Your sad face is cute, but totally not my favourite one you make."

"So... say it ain't so," Jaime said with a grin.

She chuckled lightly and tapped his cheek with a finger. "No immunity. You can still make me go weak at the knees with just a smile."

"And I still find it adorably cute when you're wrong about Bitter Woman's canon."

"Ah, ah, ah," Jaime said, shaking his head slightly with a grin. "No trying to distract me with your silly ideas about comics."

Heh. See? Totally cute grin.

"And what am I supposed to be distracting you from, exactly?" she asked. "I don't notice anything happening."

"Oh, you want to talk about it?" Jaime was totally smirking, now.

Oooh. Smirking Jaime totally was an awesome face.

"Hmmm. Is there a better way to learn? I mean, what if something gets lost in the translation? English isn't my first language, after all."

"I don't know... But I bet if we... put our heads together, we could come up with something."

[heromaniac]

"Oh?" She pressed forward and rubbed noses with him. "Like this?"

"Well... that's a start..."

[heromaniac]

"Does that mean you've come up with something?"

[weldedtomyspine]

"I was going to see if you had any suggestions," Jaime pointed out with an unapologetic grin.

[heromaniac]

"I did have one," she mused.

[weldedtomyspine]

"And are you going to share?"

[heromaniac]

Momoko pressed forward, kissing him lightly. "Hint?"

"I like hints," Jaime said with a grin, leaning in to return the favor.

Except Momoko wasn't going to settle for just a hint. Not this time. She followed up his 'hint' with another kiss of her own, this time more like the one he'd started with, though a bit hesitant - she didn't usually initiate kisses like this, after all.

Oh. That was nice. Jaime stiffened for just a moment in surprise, because Momoko didn't usually initiate that way, but... Then he relaxed into her, slowly responding, but letting her take the lead.

Mmmm...

Ooh, he liked? Mmmm. Momoko was enjoying this herself, her free hand moving down his shoulder and over his chest as she continued to enjoy.

A satisfied sound rumbled deep in Jaime's chest as he leaned back slightly, sort of like he was trying to stretch out a bit without actually moving away from her.

Okay, but Momoko was going to follow you. Which meant she was going to have to move closer, of course.

Oh no. That was terrible--mmmm... That had Jaime leaning back in, squirming just a bit to get closer to her.

Momoko liked that he was taking direction so well! But as much as she was liking this new way, she had a preference for how this should go... and her grip tightened on his shirt even as she started to edge slowly backwards, herself.

Away? No, no, that was the wrong way! Jaime squirmed a bit more, chasing after her.

Mmm, getting there! Momoko relaxed back a bit more, almost to the floor again. She ended her kiss, pulling away only enough to catch a breath. Which she was totally close enough to share, if he wanted. "Your turn?"
